Clement is Director and Head of Development and Valuations for Commercial Property at Hongkong Land Ltd, overseeing a USD 37 billion portfolio. His role includes to identify, evaluate and implement commercial property developments and investments for the Company in Hong Kong and around the region. In addition, he undertakes and oversees the valuations of the Company’s commercial portfolio, which was valued at some USD 33 billion at Dec 2021, as well as the performance of the hotel properties owned by the Company.
Clement is an alumnus of University College of Estate Management. He also holds the degree of Bachelor of Building with Honours Class 1 from The University of New South Wales and Master of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Prior to becoming President of RICS in September 2021, Clement also served as Chair of the RICS Hong Kong Board and the RICS Asia Regional Board. In addition, he sits on the Hong Kong Foundation Board of The University of New South Wales, Australia.
He is determined to extend the reach and influence of RICS’ thought-leadership and to drive the organisation’s digital capability during his term.
